A Spectacular Evening of Devotion, Music and Culture

The second day of Niladri Mahotsav 2026, celebrated during the grand 59th Shri Jagannath Rath Yatra Mahotsav at Shri Thyagraj Jagannath Mandir, New Delhi, became a spectacular evening of devotion, music, art and Odia culture. Thousands of devotees, Odia families and visitors from across Delhi-NCR gathered to experience an unforgettable celebration under the divine blessings of Mahaprabhu Shri Jagannath. The evening featured soulful performances by renowned Odia playback singers including Subasis Mahakul, Bikash Chandra, Kirtirekha and Sohini Mishra, whose devotional bhajans, timeless Odia melodies and popular chartbusters filled the temple premises with spiritual energy and joy. Adding glamour to the celebration, renowned Ollywood personalities Subhasish (Mantu), Sivani Sangita, Divya Disha and Suryamayee joined the festivities, interacting with devotees and celebrating Odisha’s rich cultural heritage. Their presence highlighted the growing recognition of Odia cinema, music and traditions beyond Odisha.

Niladri Mahotsav 2026 was more than a cultural programme; it was a vibrant platform celebrating the timeless art, heritage, spirituality and traditions of Odisha. Against the beautifully decorated backdrop of the three beautifully adorned Raths, the evening brought together music, dance, devotion and artistic excellence, creating an atmosphere of unity and cultural pride. Families, senior citizens, children and guests from diverse communities enjoyed the memorable performances and celebrations, making the second day a truly special experience. Organised by Shri Jagannath Mandir and Odisha Arts & Cultural Center, New Delhi, the festival continues to strengthen the cultural bond between Odisha and the national capital. With soulful performances, celebrity participation and the divine atmosphere of Rath Yatra, Niladri Mahotsav 2026 created cherished memories for thousands of devotees and showcased the vibrant spirit of Odisha in the heart of Delhi.
